1. Information we process

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

• Tool inputs. Dates, times, time zones, text, or other values you enter. Many calculations run in your browser. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information.
• Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested pages, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events.
• Usage data. Interactions with pages and tools when you allow analytics.
• Preferences. Language, time format, and privacy choices stored on your device.
• Communications. Your email address and message if you contact support.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide calculations and site features, remember settings, answer support requests, secure and troubleshoot the Service, measure performance with permission, display and measure advertising with permission, comply with applicable law, and prevent abuse.

3. Cookies and privacy choices

TimeAligner uses browser storage that is necessary to remember settings and your privacy choices. Analytics and advertising technologies are disabled until you grant the relevant permission through our privacy choices banner. You can accept, reject, or customize non-essential categories and reopen “Cookie settings” from the footer at any time. Your browser may also let you delete stored data or block cookies.

Your choice applies to the browser and device where it was saved. Some privacy laws provide additional rights or require different handling based on your location.

4. Google Analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-9DMGY0GSHB to understand visits and interactions. Google may process device, usage, and approximate-location information and may use cookies or similar technologies. We request IP anonymization where supported. 5. Google AdSense and Funding Choices

If you allow advertising, Google AdSense may select, deliver, limit, and measure ads and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google Funding Choices may help present or honor advertising-related privacy choices. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. 6. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to hosting, security, analytics, advertising, and support providers only as needed for their services; to comply with law or valid legal process; to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety; or as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Service. Our current infrastructure includes Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and related technical services, and Google for the optional services described above.

These providers may process information in countries other than yours under their own terms and legal safeguards.

7. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including security, support, legal, and operational needs. Browser preferences remain until you change them, clear site data, or they are otherwise removed. Third-party providers apply their own retention schedules. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; to withdraw consent; or to appeal or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to exceptions. To make a request, email us using the address below. We may need to verify your request.

9. Children

The Service is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law.
