Terms of Service

1. The Service

TimeAligner provides general-purpose utilities for working with dates, times, time zones, calendars, and related information. Results may depend on the information you provide, time-zone rules, device settings, network conditions, and third-party data. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can legally enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of applicable law or another person's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or interfere with its security or operation;
• introduce malware, abusive traffic, or requests intended to overload or disrupt the Service;
• misrepresent TimeAligner output or use the Service to facilitate fraud or harmful conduct; or
• circumvent technical limits, access controls, or usage restrictions.

4. Your Inputs

You retain any rights you have in information you submit to the Service. You grant us permission to process that information only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or regulated information unless the Service expressly supports it.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by TimeAligner or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party networks, platforms, or services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by separate terms.

7. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may also update features, limits, or supported formats as the Service evolves.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. TimeAligner provides general-purpose information, not legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimeAligner and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the Service during the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TimeAligner and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, or used the Service unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and indemnification provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept them. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide any additional notice required by law.

13. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and TimeAligner regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
